I bought this as an addition to my stainless steel appliances. As long as you take care of it as a stainless steel item (drying it off so water doesnt dry and form spots) it stays looking new! It makes it a stylish butter serving dish as well.

We remodeled and I needed a butterdish for margarine. This one is perfect for my needs. It easily hold two cubes with out smashing the sides.

Fits the shorter fatter sticks of butter that CA markets carry. Would be too short for East Coast sticks, though.
